Variable Gain Amplifiers (VGA)
Variable gain amplifiers with 30+ dB adjustment range and excellent linearity, covering DC-40 GHz for AGC and T/R channel amplitude calibration
Variable Gain Amplifiers Overview
UMS Variable Gain Amplifiers (VGAs) are based on GaAs pHEMT technology, integrating amplifier and digital/analog attenuator functions with over 30 dB of gain control range. Products feature excellent gain linearity and phase stability, widely used in phased array radar T/R channel amplitude calibration, automatic gain control (AGC) loops, and broadband receivers. Digital parallel/serial control interfaces allow flexible adaptation to different system architectures.
This page covers two UMS Product Finder functions:
Amplifier - Analog VGA (7 SKU) - Continuously variable gain via analog control voltage | Amplifier - Digital VGA (5 SKU) - Step-variable gain via digital interface
